Eine grandiose, internationale Formation eröffnet die Herbstsaison in unserem Jubiläumsjahr!
Die fünf Musiker aus Österreich, Slowenien und Serbien waren hier schon mehrfach zu hören, sie verstehen sich musikalisch bestens. Ihre Verbindung seit Jahrzehnten entstand an der Hochschule Graz und ging über zur starken Wiener Szene. Kein Wunder, dass die charismatische Sängerin aus Washington DC Lori Williams auf das eingespielte Quintett baut.
Aus Gospel, Blues und Jazz formte sie ihre ausstrahlende Präsenz auf der Bühne mit unverwechselbarer, aus der Tiefe dieser Traditionen kommenden Stimme. Joris Dudli, Bernhard Wiesinger und Renato Chicco lebten und arbeiteten lange in NYC, Christian Havel und Milan Nikolić pflegen eine intensive Tourtätigkeit in Bands aus Amerika.
Hier hören Sie ein weiteres Beispiel der gelungenen Verbindung europäisch-amerikanischer Zusammenarbeit, in der melodische Rafinesse und swingende Rhythmen eine wunderbare Einheit bilden!
